All the various pieces I had been working with in the mirrors started to come together - literally and figuratively - in 2016. Many of these images from this time build the figure up from multiple mirror shards, while also redefining it through their hard edges. Sometimes a mannequin would fill in for a second model, adding to the human/inhuman dynamic.
