2022

I've always loved when an image comes together in a way that may not make conceptual sense, but works visually. There may not be a clear understanding of what you are seeing, but it is striking. The feelings such an image evokes may be complex, but they are remarkable and leave a lasting impact. It has always been important to line things up with extreme precision when photographing in the mirrors, but in 2022 I found myself merging different bodies in completely different visual ways. I became very interested in the ethereal quality I could achieve in working with the plexiglass, and drifted further from the hard edges of the mirror shards to more delicate, transparent characteristics.
