My dear father passed away on February 3rd 2008.  He had valiantly and successfully battled acute leukemia for two years, but the disease finally took him.  We all knew these last two years were a gift, and we made the most of them with wonderful visits and dinners full of conversations and stories.  We miss him every day. Â
His death comes shortly after my dear mother’s death.Â
