At the time of writing this it is still early in the year, but 2026 has taken off to a very exciting start. In 2025 I found myself revisiting earlier work - finding new favorites through the gift of hindsight and fresh eyes. I came back to images I simply couldn't let go of- perhaps more specifically, a way of seeing that I recognized and longed to return to. I felt driven by unexplored potential, and began working with certain materials in a way I had similarly years ago. In that process, new discoveries started to emerge- new elements that I could never have anticipated and have taken me by surprise in the best way. I think there's more to say about these specifically, but for now and at this early stage I feel completely engaged and excited for where this work is going...
